The Way of the Cross for Young Christians

The Way of the Cross devotion has been an enduring source of inspiration down through the years.  This booklet is intended to bridge the gap between youthful experience and mature meditation on the Stations of the Cross.  A "Fifteenth Station" of the Resurrection is added, since the passion is meaningless unless the Resurrection is kept in mind.

Father William McLoughlin, an associate pastor at St. Benedict Joseph Labre Church in Richmond Hill, New York, felt the need in his own parish for a Way of the Cross devotion that would lead his teen-age parishioners to a deeper understanding of Christ's passion and death as it relates to their own experience.  He has demonstrated an acute perception of the emotional involvement of his age group when writing this text for his own parish youth and now for a wider publication.
