With a head and heart full of ideas, and her faith as a guiding light and constant companion, Spring Hansen began her self-taught artist’s journey at a young age — exploring new mediums such as quilting, stitching, thread painting, and more recently, textiles and mixed media. Spring Hansen is an artist specializing in fiber/textile soft sculpture, fine art photography, greeting card and framed art design. She lives outside of St. Louis, MO with her husband and son. She says, “Outside of creating, I unwind and dream by our fire pit where I enjoy too many marshmallows that I may or may not share with our Golden Retriever, Rowan.” Spring and her family also enjoy the company of three cats and a brood of chickens. When she finds some spare time, you can find her experime nting in the kitchen, doting about her flower garden or being in the presence of horses.
