Bartholomew's Passage

Bartholomew loves making new friends and good trades. At ten, he's too young to go with his Father in the fishing boats, but he's happy to stay home in his little town of Tarichae. But then a storm sweeps into town, and carries him away from his family and into slavery at the hand of a rich Roman.

?????¡Bartholomew tumbles through the mixed-up days that follow. An unjust punishment leads him to take desperate measures to escape and he's helped by a monk dressed as a fool

????????Eventually Bartholomew finds himself the guest of a Persian caravan headed for Bethlehem on a very special night. The events of that particular night will once again change Bartholomew's life forever -- in ways which he thought were impossible.
